Two ways toward The Gloom. Know what changes when you take another
path.
Game version: Early Access
/ Sources checked: September 11, 2026
Early Access launched with two pathways toward The Gloom. The newly
available route is The Mysterious Facility, with a separate card pool,
enemies and rewards.
THE EXISTING ROUTE
The original path
The launch announcement introduces The Facility as an additional
route. We use “original path” descriptively; its exact in-game
selection label is not verified here.

THE GLOOMTWO PATHWAYS
NEW IN EARLY ACCESS
The Mysterious Facility
The developer confirms a new route with its own card pool, enemies
and rewards. Access is connected to the quest system.
Exact unlock steps and route-specific card lists are not yet
verified.
What does choosing a pathway change?
The launch announcement describes an entirely new card pool, enemies
and rewards for The Facility. Do not assume that a card recommendation
from one path can be reproduced on the other.
Which path should I choose?
We do not have a verified difficulty comparison. As an editorial
starting point, use a route available in your game while you learn the
core mechanics, then revisit your card choices when you enter a
different pool.
How do I unlock The Facility?
Quests unlock access, according to the developer. Required items,
quantities and completion steps are
not yet verified for the current Early Access version.
How do characters fit in?
The launch has five characters with distinct starting decks and base
Foresights. Exact character-to-pathway restrictions are not verified
here. See Characters before relying on a
character-specific plan.

The supplied Facility run makes a useful distinction between finding
a structure and being able to use it. The player reveals an obscured
vending machine, then still needs a fixing effect to access its
reward. A reveal is not automatically a repair.
Check interaction coverage. Keep track of which
current cards can reveal, fix, unlock or break. Several copies of
one action will not solve every obstacle.
Support the structures you choose. A structure’s
reward matters less if the deck cannot provide its required
interaction. The player later identifies a shortage of fixing
tools as a bottleneck.
Inspect the merchant’s currency. One merchant in
this run asks for Data. Do not spend an activation resource as
though it were interchangeable with food.
Budget for the next encounter. Optional searches
and repairs can become costly if they require repeated rests.
Check the room warning before chasing another reward.

are lessons from one supplied run; they do not establish the
complete Facility card pool or unlock sequence.
